"WHERE IS DENISE?"
MAZARA DEL VALLO - On October 26, 2011, Denise Pipitone turns 11 years old. It has now been 7 years since she has been missing from home, from her family, from her dearest things. All of us, the Service Clubs of Mazara del Vallo, Lions, Fidapa, Fildis, Rotary and Kiwanis SATIRO, have come together so that this day is dedicated entirely to Denise.
Let us ensure that the city continues to nurture hope and interest so that Denise can embrace her loved ones again.
On October 26, 2011, we also wish to be there.

Program:
Competition for 5th grade elementary and 1st grade middle school classes.
Students may write an essay, create a drawing, or a poem on the theme "waiting for Denise" (final deadline for submission 19/10/2011).
A special committee made up of experts, teachers, and representatives of the service clubs will evaluate the works so that the best composition in each area can be awarded.
Each child who wins in their respective category will receive a voucher of 100 euros, to be spent on books or material related to their studies.
The awards ceremony will take place during the conference to be held at the council chamber of the Municipality of Mazara del Vallo on October 26, 2011 at 5:00 pm.
Speakers will include Mrs. Piera Maggio, lawyer Giacomo Frazzitta, legal representative of the Maggio family, the Councillor for Legality Riccardo La Rosa, and General Luciano Garofano, former commander of RIS Parma.
In the morning, an event will be held with the "L.Pirandello" school at the premises in Piazza Macello at 10:30 am.
